Daniele Di Rocco – Founder Partner

Daniele Di Rocco has a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Milan. He has worked for about 10 years with R&D and product development for Italtel, where he patented two devices for Fiber Optics Telecommunications. In 1997 Daniele Di Rocco joined Nicotra Sistemi, where he was in charge of developing a new product line for fiber optic networks monitoring.

In the same company, as CTO, he then redesigned operation organizational and set up new international technical partnerships. In 2000 he joined Corning OTI, where he initially was in charge of starting-up the fiber gratings division, and later was the Production Engineering director.

In 2003 Daniele Di Rocco started his Consulting experience and a few months later he founded BW Consulting. As a consultant he mainly deals with projects involving the design of control models and Business Intelligence.

Filippo Beltramini – Founder Partner

Filippo Beltramini takes a master degree in Physics in 1999.

In his work thesis he carried out a study, commissioned by Pirelli Cables for the identification of new technologies in the production of fibers. For some years he has been working in research in acoustics at the University of Milan Bicocca, participating in various international conferences and being the author of numerous publications.

In parallel he developed an interest in the study of relational database technology and the development of internet and intranet based solutions designed to support business processes.

In 2002, he designs and implements the database of the multiuser and national based management application for Associazione Banco Farmaceutico.

In 2004 he finally left academia to fund BW Consulting, where he works on the design and technological development of IT systems.

Pietro Zanone – Founder Partner

Pietro Zanone has a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Milan.

Following his first job in Italsiel (Banking IT), he attained a post-graduate MBA from Bocconi University. He then joined Finarco, a consulting firm in which he followed the start-ups of some Financial Companies, on behalf of major Banks, including responsibility for the establishment of internal control functions.

In 1993 he became responsible for Organisation and IT in SimCredit, a Brokerage and Trading Financial Company; then he dealt with system integration projects, following the merger of several banks in the Unicredit Group.

In 2000, as Account Manager in a Swiss Private Bank, Pietro Zanone was responsible for projects within the Operations and Systems Division: opening subsidiaries, new distribution channels, organisational reviews of the divisional structures.

Since co-founding BW Consulting, he has dealt with management control, organisational reviews and management consulting.

Matteo Astorri – Partner

Matteo Astorri has a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Milan, with a thesis on production planning in a heating sector company.

He was with Sanpellegrino (Nestlè Waters) from 2000 to 2004 in the Supply Chain Department. He joined the new production planning departement and was in charge of the production planning for brands such as Levissima, Acqua Panna and Sanpellegrino.

From 2003 he participated in international Nestlè projects (processes standardization and SAP implementation).

In 2004 he joined AGAM (a multi-utility company in Monza). As Planning & Control Manager, he was in charge of setting up new structures and developed a company Datawarehouse and built additional Business Intelligence tools.

In 2007 he joined BW Consulting as a consultant and became a partner in 2008.

Stefano Dalla Via – Associate

Stefano Dalla Via graduated in 1984, at age of 24, in mechanical engineering at the Milan Polytechnic obtained a master in business administration in 1990 at Bocconi University. He worked, as a consultant or a manager, in large companies of both Italian (Fincantieri, Benetton, Indesit Company, Agusta, Iveco, ENEL, Franco Tosi Industriale) and foreigner cultures (Schneider Electric, Saint Gobain, Technip, Heineken, Ideal Standard), following the strategy definition (offer qualification, demand segmentation, study and implementation of a start up business), the organization design (introduction of a new cost accounting system, job profiles evaluation, development of performance management systems, support to certification of the quality system) and the final results achievement (manufacturing and logistics efficiency, stocks reduction, effectiveness of RD and sales processes). Leveraging on change management practice, he has recently joined BW Consulting as Associate Partner.
